Objectives
- Demonstrate an understanding of the basics of family planning services and typical clinical procedures.
- List the importance of good customer service, confidentiality and appropriate medical record documentation.
- Demonstrate an understanding of reproductive anatomy, birth control methods, and sexually transmitted diseases.
- Identify resources for obtaining additional information on these topics.
Audience
This training is appropriate for anyone interested in reproductive health,
and is particularly useful for staff providing family planning services (including counseling, clinical services and education). If you’re a new staff member in a family planning organization, this module can be one part of your initial training of basic information and resources you’ll use in your job.
