Purpose
These six-month updates keep participants informed on the most current and up-to-date information re: lab technology, testing standards and protocols, data trends, systems information, requisitions and billing.

Objectives

  • Discuss HPV protocols
  • Discuss abnormal cervical management guidelines
  • Describe chlamydia screening recommendations in WI
  • Explain how selective screening criteria are established
  • Review chlamydia screening data collected in WI family planning clinics since the 2002 prevalence study

Target Audience
This information is appropriate for nurses, nurse practitioners, educators, laboratory technicians, and other interested family planning and local health department staff.

Nursing Contact Hours
HCET is an approved provider of nursing continuing education by the Indiana State Nurses Association, an accredited approved by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Audio Teleconferences with Optional Presentation Material Audio Training

Audio conferencing allows participants easy access to important topics without having to travel far or be out of the office for an extended period of time.

Participation

  1. Please register with HCET
  2. Reserve a location that is quiet and convenient
  3. Dial-in approx. 10min before the start of the training using the toll-free number provided and enter the conference code when prompted (the training WILL start on time).  We encourage the use of speaker phones for multiple listeners.
  4. The dial-in number will be sent to you via email 2-3 days before the program
