Overview
Please join us for an informative and thorough discussion on how to provide contraceptive counseling to women with chronic medical conditions. Dr. Fredrik Broekhuizen, medical director of Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, will discuss issues of risk assessment, evidenced-based contraindications and effective contraceptive methods for women with a medical condition or at risk for a medical condition.

Presenter
- Fredrik F. Broekhuizen, MD
- is a professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Medical Director of Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, Inc. Dr. Broekhuizen has authored over 50 papers and four book chapters. His medical interests are in family planning, high risk obstetrics, cervical cancer screening and international health.
Contact Hours
Participants can earn nursing contact hours and CHES contact hours for a $10 processing fee.
HCET is an approved provider of nursing continuing education by the Indiana State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Health Care Education and Training, Inc. is a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
