Youth Consumer Information

If taken within 72 hours after unprotected intercourse, EC is a second chance at preventing pregnancy. However, EC does not prevent sexually transmitted diseases. If you have had unprotected sex, or you have been sexually assaulted and you’re worried about pregnancy, call one of the toll free numbers provided in upper left hand corner box to find a clinic near you. You are not alone. You have options.

It’s your body. It’s your life. It’s your choice. If you haven’t heard about emergency contraception, you’re not alone. EC has been available for years but most women don’t know about it. If you have heard about EC, chances are you still have some questions. This page contains links designed to give you the facts about EC. Surf the sites. Compare information. Share what you learn with a friend.
