GLICHE

The Great Lakes Institute for Community Health Educators (GLICHE) is an intensive residential skill-based training for adolescent health educators working in schools and community-based organizations. The mission of GLICHE is to train professionals to facilitate learning about sexuality, HIV, STDs and pregnancy prevention. The focus of GLICHE is skill building in evidence-based curricula. GLICHE provides a forum for analysis and application of sexuality education teaching processes. GLICHE is staffed by a diverse group of educators. Each staff member has excellent facilitation and presentation skills and supports participants in the process of learning. Participant recruitment is national with a special focus on Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin.
